I just came across you channel and watched some of your videos. Would have been way better if you can do all in proper procedures and correct sequence as per FCOM handling ECAM & emergencies as it can be misleading. Just my two cents✌
You have like 3-4 pumps of brake I assume?
Doubtful. Sometimes the hydraulic fluid will be transferred to different system in the plane just depending on the type of plane and how the hydraulic systems are set up. Using basic flight controls such as ailerons and elevator would be higher priority than braking. So whatever is remaining in the accumulator may get crossed over/diverted to the control surfaces

Have been flying with a simple joystick before recently bought the thrustmaster airbus sidestick and have been really struggling with landing within 300fps. This video is really worth the watch...shall try it out.

Hey Captain, can you explain what is wingtip breaker?
in summary, WTB are activated in case of asymmetry, mechanism overspeed and a few other cases. They lock the flaps and slats in position and can only be de-activated through engineering maintenance.
How to Set A320 Trim pitch need full explain

Really helpful, thank you! If the flight plan takes you all over the place can you use the track miles on the bottom of the flight plan page (DIST) to apply your calculation aswell?
If you are going to fly those track miles, then yes - use the same calculation. otherwise use the most likely track miles.
Excellent video, very instructive and well explained. How the two thrust levers are interconnecting ? are they mechanicaly connected and locked or are they free to move separatly at any time ? In case they are free to move separatly, what's happen if one thrust lever in move differentiently for the other one.
They are free to move separately, moving the thrust differently will cause asymmetric thrust causing the aircraft to yaw.

Hello! This question may not be directly related to the video but I just wanted to know what does it mean to "Activate the approach phase" in the MCDU? What does the aircraft do when the approach phase is activated apart from slowing down to green-dot speed? Also, can we get a video going in depth in to the speed-tape on the PFD of an Airbus?
The main purpose of activating the approach phase and manage the speed (among other things - might need a separate video) is to slow the aircraft to the best L/D speed for the configuration at that time (Green Dot, S - speed, F - Speed). Furthermore, your request is noted, we will look into it
Does this apply to bigger planes like the A339? I’m asking because the A330 is a better glider cuz of its wingspan. Great videos btw
It would work on A310, A320, A350, A380 and the A330. Having said that, I would use the result of the calculation as an absolute minimum in the A330. Where the others are more forgiving the A330 is very slippery and as you said gliders well.
